Say what your priorities are, etc.

  1. I think I would rather have a vacation home If we can find a suitable one than a group of cabins. Also I think I would prefer not to be at a resort area.

To me, about $3500 is all the higher I would want to go. If other people would like to pay more for the nicer places, I could be talked into it.

For conversation sake, $2500 divided by 6 families would be $416. $3500/6 is $583.

  4. Great news! All of these places have said that it is fine if I bring Emmett! Seems that everybody loves a smelly old deaf cat with temperment and drool issues!

  5. There sure are a lot to choose from! They all look really nice. In my opinion, I say the more bedroooms the better-since the majority of us kids are getting a bit older.... But if it comes down to it I won't complain sleeping on a couch or putting up a tent in the yard.

A nice fishing lake is a priority and lakeshore with water activities is a must. Anymore hot tubs that will ruin our swimsuits???

I agree that a private facility would be better than a resort and once nice lodge (or lodge + guest house) would probably keep us more together than separate cabins. Although that seems to contradict my vote on more bedrooms...
